Anyone who is close to me knows how much of an influence she is to my life, and going through that loss wasn't very easy. Amy was one of my biggest inspirations when it came to writing and song making. Her debut album "Frank" is one of the most influential albums in my musical career, so this session of TCC is completely dedicated to her. I covered some of my favorite songs from that album and tried to do the best I could to keep up lol. She was truly amazing from her voice, to her lyrics, and all of the above. Hows it hanging? SOoo..I know I'm pretty late with this whole new year thing, but that's because I was in a third world country getting my culture shock on. For those who don't know, I went back to visit "the motherland" - my home country, Bangladesh. It was more a reality check then anything else. It made me truly appreciate the little things like toilet paper and hot water, ha - and I thought I had it ruff in Queens. Anyway, what I'm saying is, I came back to the states humble and hungry. I have a lot of in store for 2011, including new material for your ears to enjoy! On a side note; My birthday just passed on the 13th of January, and since "Blue Chess Pieces" its been tradition to record a song every year as a present to myself. So today I not only have one but TWO goodies for you guys!! The first record is a little thing I did on on Lupe's "Im Beaming" and the second is an original record I did with a very talented singer that goes by the name of Karima Scott produced by the homie Michelangelo! Hope you guys enjoy!! I promise there will be more to come!!

As some of you may know, C.Scholar is one of the reasons I started this music thing and also one of the reasons I continue to chase my dreams. When I hear the word progression, the first person that comes to my mind is this guy. His consistency is uncanny, and his ability to adapt and create is nothing to overlook.
